In Attendance: Sara McAulay taking the minutes.

Courtney welcomed everyone to the meeting.

‍

Minutes from Last Meeting: Read as true and correct. Moved - Courtney/ Chi.

Matters Arising: 

  • Goalposts - too wet at the moment.  Re-visit when dry.
  • School house maintenance - recommence when weather permits.  Heat pump installed.
  • Green swap - not happening - maybe Hugh is overseas.

Financial Report:

  • Property maintenance up - bark.
  • Some purchases - insurance payout.
  • 170 kids estimated by end of year.
  • KWK water supply still on tap - worthwhile for school pool

Moved - Nik/ Bruce.

Caretaker’s Report:

  • Operations rather than Governance for Board.
  • Tiger turf water blasted and sprayed.  Mud.

Staff Report:

  • Police in for KOS.  Parent meeting today - 3 parents in.  
  • Netsafe whanau meeting 28th August @ 6.00pm

Principal’s Report: 

  • Water pump (Dax) visit. Pumps and filter outdated and worn.
  • Library end of life governing choices and decisions.
  • Shar to attend TTPA and MoE meeting on the new Physical Restraint regulations.
  • Matariki Lantern Parade very successful.  Looking forward to next year.

General:

  • School House inspection due - Nik will go.  Shar will book. Rent currently $375 pw. Carry over and review.  Continue maintenance.
  • Shar @ Principal’s Meeting: Teachers get more CRT.  More options for release time - specialist teachers etc.
